Default Keeping those exhaust tips clean

You guys are gonna think I'm crazy, but here goes.

I've tried many different polishes and scrubs to keep my exhaust tip clean, but to no avail. Well, I had the crazy idea of trying some of the other products used to clean up the car. I found that using the ArmorAll Tire Shine Gel not only shined up the exhaust tip to like new, but it cleaned it well and it stayed clean! I couldn't believe it. I tried just about everyting under the sun, and this worked best.

Just thought I'd pass this on. Might as well use it if you have it instead of buying anything else!!

yes, just the regular armorall spray works just a as well on chrome to. i had some chrome mods on a truck when i was a in high school and used armorall to clean the chrome wheels and they never had rust spots and shined like new. learned that trick from an old timer.

I hear that when polishing the pipes, you should NEVER forget about the tip(s)...

(Yes! I'm the fourth person to make a horrible joke regarding this thread!!)

Thanks for the info

I prefer Jergins, myself...

Wait! I mean... I use aluminum polish on mine, then wax them to keep them clean. to clean the insides, I use wheel cleaner (the spray-on kind).
