Need Help choosing the right tires
I purchased the Foose Nitrous rims today for my 07gt mustang and I need help deciding on which tires to go with. Ive got three in particular that im looking at. The Falken FK-452, the Nitto 555, and the BFgoodrich KDW.
All three seem a nice choice to me however which would be best suited for overall performance, handling, road noise, etc.

RE: Need Help choosing the right tires
Seeing as I helped you choose the wheels I'll give you my 2 cents on the tires. I put on 255- 35 20 Bf Goodrich kdws on the fronts and 275- 30 20's on the back. If you don't want the tires to stick out then you can't go any bigger in the rear. Keep in mind though that different brands call a tire the same size even if its a little bigger/smaller then another company's/ From a performance aspect I can tell you that the Goodrich tires handle very well in dry, warm weather. I don't think they are a very noisy tire, though I would say louder than stock. If you want more info then go to www.tirerack.com

Hello,
I have 20" rims and I have the BFGoodrich KDW2 and they are 285 in the rear and do not stick out! I also have 265 in the front! I love the tire though they are a bit hard (compound).

I feel that 30 series tires work great for the car and if you lower it with a big drop (more than 1.5 inches) it will look great and sit well in the wheel wheel!

Thanks again
Why did u go with the 275/30-20. I was under the impression that the 275/35-20 would be better for a 20x10 rim on the vehicle
Thanks again

You are so right!

For one my car is lowered over 2" so I couldn't really go with a higher profile tire unless I tucked it up inside the wheel well. And Bf Goodrich to my knowledge doesn't make the tire I got in a 35 series.

RE: Need Help choosing the right tires
I live in AZ so if the tires need warm weather it shouldn't be an issue .
Well it seems that the goodrich are most popular out of the three so I may give them a try. Ive gone with the 20x8.5 and 20x10 rims and the tire sizes im thinking about are 255/35-20 and 275/35-20. Seems to me like a great fit however im always open for other opinions. Thanks.
