Default Ok to reflash occasionally???

I tried searching through old posts, but I must not be using the correct words in my search.

I'm taking my wifes car tomorrow to do some kayaking and she wants to drive mine into town. I normallyuse my 93 oct tune with TC disabled, but I'd like to reflash my 91 tune for the few times she drives the car. So can the car go blind from to much reflashing.

Should be fine... in fact most people recommend a reflash every month or so to refresh the Spanish Oaks "learning" curve thing.

I read that in my search, but thought there might be some new info. You know how they say too much of any one thing can be bad. The car pulls way to hard for her starting out in 1st with the 93 tune and i'd feel more comfortable if TC is on while she's driving. Even though I have little faith in the TC system.

Yeah I know how you feel... and I think the reflashing should be fine.. they also say, Everything in moderation.

I've reflashed a few times messing with the tire rev's and gearing, to play with my odometer.

Talked with a ford engineer and he stated theat it should be fine and it actually helps as if rebooting a computer!

I reflash mine once a month when the shifts and throttle lag become sloppy again. I havent had any issue.

Hope this helps!
