What is the part all the way to the right of the dash?

What is the part all the way to the right of the dash?
Some people may have it otheres might not. It's a little square thingy connected to a wire right next to the window in the corner (passenger side windshield). It looks like it's sitting on some type of magnet thingy. Is it for the alarm?

I dont have one in mine.. I do have 2 little wired boxes on each side in the rear window.
