These cars run HOT - that has been talked about extensively since the first month they came out. It is a common issue with the heat making its way into the big ac channels and has nothing to do with shutting off the system with the **** in the hot position.(I live in Florida and have used the heat... exactly never. The **** never moves out of the cold blue section)

Had this on my old 05 and my new 06.
With no AC on, drive with the vents closed . Problem solved.

Actually no... what happens then is the heat spews out from under the dash and roasts my feet...

I'll try the solution above but it's killing me...

Question: If the probablem can't be duplicated at the dealer do you still have to pay the $50??? I hate going there and getting charged for nothing!

I live in Florida too, never used the heat , but occasionaly experience the problem.... Shutting the vents seems to works sometimes, other times I roll the windows down or just find myself turning the A/C on for a bit... Any new finds on this?
