My FIRST Mustang Limerick/Poem
I just recently joined the "Mustang Forum"
cause like all of you folks I also adore 'em
whether modded or stock
these ponies sure rock
and in 40 years we can start to restore them!
"Cold air intakes" and specialty "tunes"
louder mufflers that really go V R O O M !
at least with THIS Ford
we'll never grow bored
and the 302 "Boss" arrives soon!
Our rivals- like Chevy and Dodge
are Losers without all their mods
but even THEY'RE nicer
than sad pimped-out "Ricers"
that wannabe seen as "Hot-Rods"!
So you Stangers out there (and there's LOTS!)
driving ponies way cool and so hot
whether fastback or "vert"
all our rivals eat dirt
and our only Big Fear is the COPS!
Gotta have all those cool mods galore
to go with my "5 on the floor"
want some upgraded lights
and some headers and pipes
to make that exhaust really R O A R !
But I'm hopelessly hooked on these mods
and on getting thumbs-up and those nods
"That's ENOUGH!", my wife tells me,
"just order a SHELBY-
"and stay out of our f*ck*ng garage!"
So I ordered a Shelby in white
with that hood scoop and bitchin' blue stripes
It's been bettered by Carroll-
no more Holley four-barrel
when I mash it- she nearly takes flight!
Now my wife drives our standard GT
when she asked me I gave her the keys
but now SHE orders mods-
she went CRAZY- my God!
wants a "catback" a "tune" and Saleen!
So we argued, and now she's my "ex"
Do I miss her? Not much, I confess.

they designed her in HEAVEN,
and to drive her is BETTER than sex...!
hi folks- just thought I'd post this one last time (and all together instead of in the original 2 parts) for anyone who might have missed it the first time around (in the 4.6 specific section instead of here in the general section).
