RE: Shelby GT front splitter on a GT?
Put mine on a few months ago. Takes some work, but I like the look. It cost me 60.00can from the dealer I used to work for. If you search for the thread shelby lip more than myself have done this.

Thanks -- that is quite similar to the Shelby GT one. How is the fit and installation?

It's very secure and stable once you've fastened it.

What is the Part number from Ford for the shelby lip
Sorry I did not keep the receipt, but I had the guys in parts at the dealer look it up on a 2007 GT-500. I'm sure if you call or stop in any dealer they will look it up

I don't have the partnumber in front of me either. I ordered one to play with last week. It is $60 or so list, about 42 cost.
A few people have fitted it, but it requires quite a bit of work supposidly.

I really like the cobra front end. Ithink I saw someone with the conversion at the PCH cruise. Didn't get a chance to meet him though. Anyone know who I'm talking about? I wouldn't mind doing the same conversion. It looked sick.
For my lip, I didn't have any fitment problems and it simply bolts onto the stock bumper using the existing screws.
