Xmas gift by tram: wiped out rear!
taking left turn, blocked by cars and this 50 tons tram smashes my rear 3 hours ago..
oh boy, Im so pi$$ed.....
stang grounded for a month at least koz of xmas.....
only "fortune" is that it didnt hit the left rear wheel so there seems to be no damage to rear axle or drivetrain.....i was able to drive it off afterwards.

yeah its covered by insurance but...i think just the parts will be around $ 2000, work & paint at about $ 1100 (cheaper here than in the States)
had to pull out my tiny 2liter 130 HP Chrysler convertible out....

Oh heck yeah, I didnt think that would be a cheap one......you will be getting a brand new rear quarter panel, hell probably damm near the entire rear section of the car!! I cant believe it didnt damage the rear end or axle?? How fast was the tram moving?

yeah rear quarter panel is gone, rear bumper is gone and trunk is gone also...
tram driver claimed he was breaking and that all he needed was another 2 yards....I suppose if he hitted me at 20 miles I would rotate around in circles....also if he has hit left tire or bit more front I guess the geometry and axle wud be f---d and car FUBAR.... I hope way it happened wont have any "Totaled" consequences....

No doubt!! Well man I hate to see that beautiful car like that so keep us posted on the repair work.........maybe you can sneak in someaftermarket partsthrought this ordeal

can sneak in some aftermarket parts throught this ordeal
as S/C is next on my list I dont think it would sneak into insurance
))but I have to inspect the car from bellow as I have steedas g trac, adj.panhard and other stuff there already to see if they took any damage

Sorry to hear about your stang man, that's gotta suck major ***. As far a sneaking in some aftermarket parts maybe a SSE Gen1 Rear Valance Lip and a 3d500 Spoiler? Or maybe just the Saleen Rear Valance minus the competition wing? Sequential taillights? Hope this helps!
