Took it by the local shops yesturday and they're suspecting something to do with my bearings are messed up. The prob is, they cant get parts anywhere except from the dealer because the car is so new meaning it may cost me quite a few pretty pennies... Ill deal with it later this week after the holidays and let you all know. Also, they think they may be able to file down my curb rash and clean it up to make it look respectbale.. Who knows, I guess it doesnt hurt to try

I wouldn't worry about the curb rash, I've seen BMW work wonders on some pretty bad scratches on rims before. If the dealership doesn't make it look like you want I almost guarantee you can find somewhere that will get it so you can't even tell where the scratch was.

Yea I was pretty shocked to here that there's guys out there who can erase this curb damage!![:-] Seems pretty amazing, and heck if it saves me from having to spend about $100 then why in the world not right? Oh and the mechanic said that I would have this "bubble" by now if I was going to get it and he said it doesnt appear that I ran into that problem!! Thank God!! He says I have a fairly mild case overal, considering all the exterior visable damage and that he would be able to fix me up nice when he gets the proper tools next week. As far as the internals (bearings and what not) Ill have to wait and see next wed. or so when I take her in to the Dealer. Thanks for the consistant support/concern everyone!!

Doesnt it just suk when you do something like curb the car and get paranoid over it. Frankly though, IF there is anything wrong, it could only be a few things from curb damage. Just have them check your car out on the lift and make sure the tie rod is fine, strut, spring, and bearings, and i dont think you hit hard enough to have any frame damage.Now, if your bearings were shot you would here a low sort of sound/vibration from the wheel area. So your car is probably just fine, but make sure. Align it if it needs to be done and if doesnt align properly, then you know something is wrong. It should be fine from what is sounds like though. Good luck finding that wheel.
