Default Sound Deadening

I have a 2006 GT Convertable. I notice a lot of Road Noise coming from the rear seat area. Has anybody tried things to reduce the noise, ie: sound deadening material, other methods?. Did it work? What do you suggest?

Dynamat seems to be the weapon of choice for sound deadening. But it is tough to quiet road noise in a ragtop. I put on FRPP/Borla Stingers...which quickly made the road noise completely inaudible.

If you aren't putting it in for any stereo reasons then I don't think you'll find it to be a worthwile upgrade. For one it's heavy, significantly so if you use a lot and while it does reduce some noise it really doesn't that much.

I would use dynamat as well though I plan on changing the sound system!
