Stang Skeleton:::: What did you use to make the rubber L-turn section shine on your K&N CAI, I have tried everything and cant even get a hint of a shine.

I first saw this stuff at the SVT show in Winston-Salem this year. Looks pretty good. I think I'm on board to do it too. Here is the car it was on...

Can you tell me how much tubing is required for the same job on your car? Makes it easier to purchase.

Thanks.

Ahhh yes, the fabulous flyingelectrical tape, ever since they went to the friction tape in the late 80's they have had this problem, it just cant handle the under hood temps.I have retaped and wrapped wire loom to the ends of the earth, its ok, chrysler and gm have the same issue. I was looking at it this weekend actually, trying to decide what I want to do yet, I tend to prefer the look of nice slick electrical tape, but may go with just black wire loom.

That blue looks good. Thats what I did but on a much smaller scale. I tubed and then taped over in yellow. Cool thing is, the yellow was a perfect match! Its abouttwo years old though so I may redo it soon.
