Default Helix power plus throttle body spacer

"Helix power plus throttle body spacer" What do you guys think of this product? Suppose to add 10 HP and better fuel Mil..... to the o5 plus Mustangs.

This thing is kinda like those "Tornado" fuel atomizer things that supposedly spin the air and create better fuel atomization.

However, it's mostly a smoke oil sale. They've never really been proven to make more power, give better fuel/air ratio, etc...The reason that they "work" better most of the time is because the engines are restricted with a dirty air filter that's clogged with gunk and the engine can't breathe. They change the air filter at the same time, and voila! They get better fuel economy and more power!

Exactly. The spacers are a bunch of BS if you ask me.

Think about it. If you could get 10+ HP and better economy by adding that spacer, don't you think the manifold would be designed like that from the factory? Or that the spacer would be included?

I have seen several dyno runs with spacers and I have never seen a veryifyable gain.

A bigger BORE throttle body is worth more power, but only if you have heads or cams already. If not, it's an expenseive way of causing engine trouble.
