Buy gas. I can't think of why you would want to push your luck.

Buy gas. Why push your luck. When you reach 1/4 tank, stop and buy gas. Annoying was a shift light on the 2003 Cobra for fuel economy.

+1 I hate those lights...they don't make any sense...even if you do shift when it says I never noticed a big difference in MPG...just an annoying damn light!

I heard it could cause premature wear if you constantly let the car get below a surtain amount of fuel...I always put gas in before it has anothe chance to warn me...

+1 on the 50 miles to empty mark too...

Mine goes off at 50 too.. I try to fill mine at 1/2 tank. It isn't good to let it get that low. Fuel keeps the fuel pump cool, so if you let it get very low, it can cause the pump to run hot- this will shorten the pumps life.

This is off topic but sort of the same. Is there any way to disable the continuously annoying ding from not wearing your seat belt? Don't worry i wear mine! I just have to unhook it sometimes and it annoys the hell out of me.
