Default silverstar bulbs question

OK, I know there has been alot about the bulbs so here I go. Will the silverstar bulbs make the clip in the fog lights fall inside or not?? I bought the Xenon bulbs long time ago and the clip fell inside both lights. No bid deal just take it to the dealer and get them swapped out. I just want to avoid that issue with a new set lights.

you just have to be careful installing them. If you don't hit the clips inside, you should be ok. I hit the clip installing a bulb and had to work with it for a while to get it fixed. PITA The bulb itself will not push the clip out.

When I did my 4 bulbs I made sure I took off the whole fog light assembly. It guaranteed no ****-up.

Im talking about the heat issue with the bulbs melting the glue that holds the clips. Didnt have a issue with installing the bulbs. Thanks for the input.

The Silverstars do not run HOT like many of the aftermarket bulbs becasue theya re the stock wattage. Most of those other aftermarket bulbs draw 100watts.

If you get stock wattage you will have no problems with any bulbs. The only problem I've heard is when people actually knock those clips off because of not being careful.

I managed to knock both of my clips out changing my bulbs to the Silverstars. I think part of the problem is that I had the Nokya bulbs in before the Silverstars, and they may have melted the glue a bit. So I pulled both fog light assemblies out, and between my dad and I, we got both clips back in place (probably better than when they came from the factory). Just be careful. The Silverstars themselves won't cause any problems, but you might...lol
