Man In sorry to hear your pain, thats why we only drink three things in my car,,
water , water and..... water. Dont ever go thru a drive-thru, because if the drink slips during the
hand-off,YOU LOSE, and also your car will stink like fries for days.no food allowed
We keep a SMALL cooler in the trunk for just in case..........
Try warm water with a lightmix of Dawn dish soap on the juice, good luck ,Because you wrote in for help not I told you so

Thanks everyone. I removed the center console and wiped everything that I could possible reach with water and some WD40. I also took apart the top of the shifter(handle) and cleaned that sucker up with a rag and some WD40 as well. It almost didn't pop back into place and I got really nervous...but I fixed it . I also lubed up some of the CHEAP plastic underneath the shifter that initiates the shiftso that it could be easier to move. It didn't even look like the factory lubed it that well and whatever they had there already looked like white dried crap. Anyway, I took the car for a ride after that and played around with the shifter and I think everything is really good (hopefully it remains that way). Thanks again for your help.

Lesson Learned: Do not eat anything or drink anything in your car (except water).

The second cupholder has a part that lifts up and you can easily fit a 40oz drink in there and still shift OK. It's hard to find - I learned about it on this forum - it is just a little tab but now I use it all the time.

Funny about lots of the posts here- people seem to drink imitation juices, sodas, coffee; all these are either bad for you, will stain or soil your car if spilled, or Both!
Gee if only there was a good tasting beverage that was good for you, fit in our cupholders without sticking out too much and didn't stain if spilled... hmmmm

ok this is kinda off topic, but the old french fries got me thinking, a guy I work with abandoned an old truck for about 4 years. He called us while on the road saying the cops sent him a notice to move it or it will be towed. So we broke into it to move it. There were 4 year old Micky-D's fries on the floor that still looked fresh! Now tell me how healthy that can be for you
