Anyone know how to remove the parts around the shifter without removing the center console? Where it reads P, D, N, R etc...? Man nothing goes right with this freaking car. I just finished removing some pain in the *** water spots on my windshield and now this **** happens. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Why were you drinking juicy juice? The "outer" ring just snaps off and the rest is accessable sort of.

That's all my girlfriend had in the fridge...lol. Anybody have a diagram of the shifter section?

nope sorry. but its happened to me b4. spray oil on it. when it happened to me I just wiped it down then it got sticky and bent the platic up in my shifter(Auto). I got to the point when i couldnt put it in park and get my key out. trust me if it gets stickey enough spray wd 40. thats what the mechanic did for me at my dealership

yeah it was stuck. a coke with vanilla and cherry syrup. went away that same day just spray it. It will goaway for sure. did you take it out yet it? pops right out then flip it upside down for extra juice todrip out.

This is why I don't have an automatic transmission... but I'd probably jump off a cliff if I spilt something. I remember getting a gallon of milk on my way home.. and the stupid thing started leaking in my car. So I had to wash the mat, and try to clean it out of the carpet as best as I could. Never got any bad odors, and never had any damage to the carpet so all is good.
