Default Another 4.10 question

Sorry for making everyone read another thread on this subject.

1. What is the part number for Ford Racing gears, (or Motive, but the folks around hear seem to think that Ford's are better)?
2. Where is the best place to buy them?
3.Do I need to order anything else (such as the installation kit)?
4. How much gear oil do I need to purchase?

I think that it would cost less to have all of the parts so that my install shop doesn't have to supply them.

I have less than 4k miles on my stang. Thanks guys!

fords are no better then motives when installed correctly

americanmuscle.com has them, the discount code is mustangboards and you MUST get a bering kit

and being a 5 speed, i suggest you look at 4.30s

I thought that you only needed a bering kit if the car has a lot of miles. How much gear lube do I need to order?

not sure on the lube part, its common sense other then needing a new crush sleave, would you have your motor rebuilt but only replace the pistons/rods that are destroyed or go ahead and redo the whole thing?

do it once do it right, its cheap insurance, protect your invstment

It takes a little over 2 liters if i recall correct....I got 3 bottles and used some of the third bottle..if you can get the pinion bearing off thats the only bearing you will need.....i used redline oil and it is pretty good stuff, it really sticks to the gears nice..
