Wow! After a 69 340 Dart GT, 71 340 Dodge Demon, 78 Z-28, 5.0 91 LX, a 93 Lightning and an 01 Lightning, I don't think I could stand the wimpy sound of a V6, no matter HOW fast it went. Gas mileage is an issue for some but I live 5 minutes from my job so I don't care. If I lived farther away I'd get a beater 4 cyl to drive to work. I love the sound of a souped up V8. I don't care if gas is pouring out the exhaust like a fire hose.
BUT each his own and I don't mean to sound degrading to anyone with a 6. That is why we have opinions. If everyone was the same this world would stink worse than it already does.
