Anybody have any pics of this. My 05 didn't have this option, but with my Z1 I have XM and the antenna they use is rather small. I was just looking to compare.

Thanks....its about the same sizeand it would be nice to have it painted or inside. I get perfect reception from mine which is located on the rear deck of mine.

I have to agree there...I've got my aftermarket XM installed in my Mustang, and its antenna is about the same size as a quarter.

I ran it up along the side of the door sill, around the front, and up the sill along the side of the windshield, to sit just above the driver's side of the windshield.

Very small, and almost unnoticeable. I've seen a suction cup mount that has a little L piece of metal that the antenna can mount to.

However, this is illegal in the great state of California (Illegal to have anything suction cupped to the glass). So, I can't stick it there.

However, I have used some double stick tape in my mom's Corolla to attach the antenna along the back window, where it still gets good reception.

mlcrycc,
What type of rear "black out" kit do you have?

Stanngg,
Here is a link to the blackout panel I am using.....Also got the tail light bezels here as well....

http://www.mossmustang.com/Shop/View...eIndexID=48645

This panel is actually a dark smoked acrylic.I put a couple coats of black acrylic on the back, just to black it out all the way. (didn't really show through on the Mineral Grey anyway) The panel is made to attach with 3M tape, which I modified with magnetic tape and velcro, to make the panel easily detachable, for cleaning, or for a change of look, etc.

On the subject of the satellite antenna, I agree with howarmat. I have my XM antenna in the rear window deck, and get perfect reception. As a matter of fact, I just replaced my Skipper 500 yesterday, with an Alpine HU, and ran a new XM antenna. Located in the exact same location, and the reception is even better than the first...

Mike

Thanks Mlcrycc....It looks really sweet! I have the magnetic panel and yours looks much better. I think I'm going to make the switch...

Hey, no problem. I think it's just the difference between a matte finish, and a high gloss....Can't hardly go wrong for the price....

Your Grabber is beautiful. Is your fuel door from Silverhorse?? I'm trying to convince myself that their black one would work on my Mineral.......
