20 Inch Wheels, Tires?

RE: 20 Inch Wheels, Tires?
I have 245/35/20 on front and 275/30/20 at the back and the 35 between the 30 is bigger with a bigger notisable sidewall. So if I change my back tire to 295/40/20 Will I have any trouble?

Forget the added weight and poor ride.
I cringe every time I see 20s on a Mustang. I think maybe Huggy Bear would dig those 20s big time though...... Way too pimpy for my muscle car!

What a waste of power. Enjoy your gay rubberbands.

Why exactly are you so negative... again I've forgotten?
Oh I see, if you don't like something it must be"gay"? Is this your homophobic side shining through or what?
hmm lets compare a few things; I HAVE had 235x55x17 with 540hp and THOSE are bicycle tires! No contact patch andcompletely useless when trying to harness some majoradded HP. Ifwe didn't have a convertible and COULD run at the track yes Imight change to a different rim tire combo. (at the track only!)But since slower than 13.49 is theNHRA limit for a non-caged convertible, and I'm not going to cageout car!I could really care less if these 20" with 285x30 are not the best 'drag racing' tire avalible. They are far superior to the stock tires.I know for a factour car launched harder and was faster when I replaced ths stock 235x55x17 Pirelli and bolted on a set of 285x30x20 BFG. Now unless you have first hand experence with 20's on your car, how about just read along and keep your opinions to yourself, as that's all they are... an opinion.
(seen it before, here comes the bashing and silly name calling anytime anyone questions what he says guess it's my turn! lol)

I think this has been run into the ground. 20's are fine for those who want them....I know everybody is intitled to their opinion but comments like that are for lack of a better term ...retarded.The weight of the rims is a no issue if you buy light 20's and the ride is great! I have 20's and the ride with stock shocks and springs is great! Like a cadillac on steriods! Living in Michigan with some of the worst road conditions in the country except for unpaved roads the car and the big rims handle them just fine and is no worse feeling than when the 17's were on.....[sm=violent053.gif]
