Default 18x9 deep dish on 05 gt...need tires

hey, I am getting my 18x9 chrome deep dish wheels this week and need to know the best tire width and height to put on a 2005 mustang gt that will have only its rear springs changed with roush rears....
255/45/18 seems the same size...but a tad bit shorter in profile....and larger width
is there a slightly taller and def wider tire that will work on all 4...i dont want different size tires as I want to rotate properly...PLEASE ADVISE<<,,,,HELP

Go to Discount Tire's web site and sit and play with the tire size calculator. That is probably going to be your best bet. No one is going to know what is going to be the best tire size for you especially since you are the only one that knows what you want the final outcome to look like.

Go Nitto 555s

I believe the 275/40/18 is what Steeda runs all around on all their new Stangs

you could fit a 285/40/18 on all four and it should clear fine since you haven't dropped the car except in the rear. This tire will keep the same diameter as the stockers so no adjustment there. 285 will be tight on the 9 inch wide rim but since many members are running a 275 on the stock 17x8 then you should be able to run 285 on a 18x9 rim.

I wish. I have been looking for a DR in that size, but haven't been able to find one!!

i would do either the 275/40 or 285/40 anything thicker than the 40 series tires is going to look weird IMO but i have 275/35 all around on 18x9 rims and i think it looks perfect...then again i do have ultralight lowering springs as well.
