Are '05-'06 the same as '07?

Are '05-'06 the same as '07?
I'm looking to pick up some mods for my '07, but I want to make sure that they're going to fit on my '07, and work with my '07...
For example:
I keep seeing all these CAIs that are for the 05-06 GTs, but if it's not going to fit or the tunes for them are different vs. the '07s, I don't want it to screw up my engine.
Same goes for body kits, etc...I'm pretty sure those will fit, but at the same time, I don't want to buy it, have it shipped, and then find out it won't fit at all...I've got a feeling that I can just stick with some of the reputable companies, like Steeda, and feel pretty confident...
Anyone have any recommendations of places to look?

Same... same... same.. just new colors and options, but same motor for V6 and V8
EDIT:: but it was rumor'd that Ford changed something about the ECU that is different for tuners.. just ask the seller before you buy...

the only thing that comes to mind is, some strut tower
braces might not fit with the 07 plenum cover....

I believe there's more too it than that, as I heard that there were some cooling pipework modifications to the '07. This certainly affects supercharger installations, Roush for example require you to buy a supplementary pipework kit for '07 GTs.

For some reason CDC offers a different Pt# Shaker Hood scoop system for the 07's vs the 05/06's.
Might have something to do with the different piping arangement mentioned earlier.

Thanks for the interest and email! Unfortunately, we do not have a fix (yet)
for this problem. I have a few suggestions you could try, though. The first
would be to take your car to your local Ford dealership. I would believe
that they would have another Mustang in your color without a scoop.
Most times, they are willing to trade parts if they are the one gaining the
scoop. I've had some people make these types of trades with trunk lids, to
get a lid without a spoiler. Another option would be to trade hoods with
another Mustang owner; access to the numerous Mustang internet forums might help you track one down sooner.
Another option is to use a vinyl hood graphic. Most high-quality vinyls are
tough and somewhat thick, and would work "o.k." to cover up the holes. Not
the best approach, but it could work.
My last suggestion is our Foose hood, which is a replacement stamped aluminum hood, and likely one of the finest aftermarket hoods
available. We actually have the outer skin stamped out of aluminum (like your current
hood), and purchase the structural inner layer from Ford, and mate the two
together just like an OEM hood. This will obviously add a lot of expense,
but you could retain your stock hood and/or sell it to recoup some of the
money. The Foose hood can be purchased with a hole already stamped into it
specifically for the Shaker. You can see it here on our mineral gray '05.

I hope these ideas help! As mentioned, we don't have a better, less expensive fix for this situation right now, but we may be working on
something for it in the near future. If you have any other questions, please
let me know!

RE: Are '05-'06 the same as '07?
What I do know is that there was a change in the cooling system of the '07s and there was an ECU upgrade that affects tuning as NVRL8 said. Other than that there I was told that changing out the AC ***** was not as easy. Thats all I know for sure.
