Default Differences between C&L and JLT

Does anyone know the difference in HP and TRQ between both intakes? I was debating which one to buy and saw that the JLT is cheaper but have heard great things about both...

The mag reviews report a very small HP difference between the two...usually 1 or 2 HP, with the advantage going to the JTL. That is so little I wouldn't even worry about it.

I bought the C&L becasue of it's superior fit and finish.

Same here on the C&L. Heard great things on both but liked the finish of the C&L better.

I doubt there is much of a difference in performance, I think you are just paying for the cleaner look with the C&L. If you don't mind spending a little extra for a nicer looking intake buy the C&L, if you want bang for your buck JLT or the tunable induction are the way to go. The only thing I don't like about the JLT is the heatshield. Other than that, it's a beatiful thing.

C&L Racer is the Best to buy if you plan on adding lots of mods. It offers the most flow and the plastic hold in less heat then the metal street version.

The Racer comes with a 95mm maf that will flow better when you do things like CMCV DP's, LT's, O/R X-pipe, etc etc..

I too was undecided between the 2. I was leaning towards JLT II a little bit. Then I seen the C&L in person and did not like the finish on it. Nor really cared for the bulky looking sheild. And went with the JLT. Couldnt be happier.

Other than personal preferences and price, the choice is yours.

JLT seems to have a bigger filter ... could just be the picture though ... but the cai and tune is really whats going to give you the hp if you have the best cai in the world and a crappy tune it doesnt really matter ... i like the looks of the jlt though looks cool and seems like it has more of a straight shot opposed to the minor minor bends in the c&l
