Looking to get stripes painted, what size you guys think is best? Style? What am I looking to pay more a less? All input is appreciated.

I paid $2000 for laser straight stripes (they actually lay them with a laser). Side and rally.

The Ghost

I had mine done for $1700. But after doing them my painter said he would never do it again for less than $3000. But...he removed bumpers, hood, trunk, wing, and even removed my windshield and rear glass. Repainted everything completely with a paint called Glassurit (it's a high end German paint that comes on most of the expensive German cars). Then clearcoated the whole car with the same so there wouldn't be any differences in the shine.

Your car looks awesome right now. I would suggest getting the mirrors done. Car is sooo clean looking. ...IMO stripes are gonna make it "busy" looking. You've got enough goin on. I am not even suggesting rims because your OE rims actually look unique with the mods you have. I'll tell ya, your car looks teriffic just as you have it!!!

I spent $3000 for the following:

- Fill in stock spoiler holes
- Prep and paintducktail spoiler (unfinished)
- Prep and paint hood (unfinished)
- Prep and paint stripes (tapered to match the original Shelby dimensions)
- Clear everything

I delivered the car (and received it back) with both bumpers off the car. He mounted them to lay the stripes, but did the painting separate. To match the paint and clear, he had to hit everything but the doors. Similar to what The Ghost said, this guy said he would charge $5000+ to do the same job again. I would expect to spend at least $1500-$2500 for just the stripes.
