Anyone else have this problem and how did you solve it? I know why its doing it, the exhaust was only designed with the two hangers and the third one that holds it up in place, if anyone knows if i can get an add-on one let me know please

Are you a v6 or v8? You can usually solve this by loosening the clamps that hold the midpipe and rotate the pipe clockwise if on the drivers side and counterclockwise if on the passenger side. This usually will elevate the pipe over the axle.

Did you try loosening the clamp way up by the Y-Pipe also?

why does that have an effect on it? i losen two clamps, the one joining the muffler and the other near the middle of the car, i dont have a mount, i did this from a little life that i have at home, it would be great if i could put it on lifts and work on it standing up and not layin down

Ok... lets be real here... I, along with other have told you how to fix this issue.... I'm sorry if you are unable to understand what we are telling you... Everyone on this forum that has had this issue has corrrected it by simply rotating their mid-pipe... If you are unable to do that, then don't take it to a high priced Ford dealer.. take it to a local muffler shop and spend $20 for them to put it on the hoist for you and have them rotate the mid-pipe... it's really that simple.... Check the 4.0 section there are plenty of statisfied MRT owners...

i wasnt upset, im just not very talented with stuff like that, how do i manage to rotate the pipe, it looks as if it was welded, i hit with the rubber hammer and it still wont move an inch, also do i need to take it off to rotate it? or can i rotate it while its still connected but with the clamps losen? those are all the questions i need
