God I hate to hear this!!!!!! This seems to be a trend on Ebay lately and Ill tell you what, Im sick of it!!!! Im about done with Ebay myself and Ive been a member since 2000. My son got scammed out $900 from a guy in Florida, just before Christmas. He was scammed with a supercharger (go figure) I have learned that Ebay really is not there for the member, trust me. God, Im so sorry to hear that. I know this is not a fix-all but report that bastard to every agency you can........be sure to report your crime at www.ic3.com (Internet Crime 3). The more we, as victims, report SOBs like this the more we will be heard and maybe, just maybe, these scums of the earth can get caught. But damm sure dont count on Ebay or Pay Pay to help you at all!!!

Sorry to vent, this is a very sore subject with me right now!

Good luck to ya buddy!!!

This is why you stay away from ebay...Spend a little extra money to KNOW you will get what you purchased.

Really sorry to hear about what happend to you Fred- did you at least contact eBay and tell them what a lying thieving Scumbag this guy is??
What's his eBay name?
You mention some other guys he screwed over too- where did you hear about this- reading his feedback?
He's ebay name is simtouchauctions, and he has since been banned. I just happened to stumble across a thread at SVTPerformance.comthat had a guy being screwed over by the same person. He's ebay feedback was 100%, and nothing looked suspicious.

A buddy of mine was making his eclipse all wheel drive and bought some parts from a guy on there and he never recieved his parts. He called and complained and filed reports and it took about 2 1/2 months and paypal gave him back half his money. Half is better then nothing. The guy's account was suspended and he can longer use ebay. I say do what you have to legaly and take this guy down. Spend the extra cash- I would. Best case senario is you get you're money back after you sue him.. Sorry for your lose bro but I wouldn't let him get away with it... I can guarentee that he gets someone else too.

If you used PAypal, did you use a credit card or did you just use your bank account? I always use a credit card even through paypal, that way if paypal bitches out you have the C.C. company and they will side with you 99.9% of the time.

Same here. I always use a CC. I already filed a charge with Washington Mutual (my CC company) but apparently it can take up to 90 days...

No, it wasnt a KB......this is what it was.....Ebay Item #130053879385 - ATI PROCHARGER SUPERCHARGER KIT.....this member was "burgerbooster".....then not even a month later this listing comes up and looks all too familiar and I think its the same guy.........190066275841 99-04 ford mustang gt supercharger kit ati procharger....and this member's name is "thatberryman"...

I know one thing, its just happening way too much and Ebay doesnt seem to give a ratts a**! Buyer for sure beware!
