Who cares what they do. If it even remotely looks like the concept car it will be "FUGLY"!!! Don't care how fast it is, it's like the old saying: "no matter how hard you rub, you can't shine a turd".

Give it a couple of years and the camaro will be be belly up again. You can't compete with the bang for the buck the mustang has, especially if you put a higher hp motor in the camaro. More power = More Money.
Plus the car is ugly,the gto looks way nicer.
Plus people just don't look right driving a camaro unless your sporting a sweet mullet.

The new Chevy Camaro concept will star in the new Transformers movie this year...
Along with the new Saleen Mustang as a Police Car. And boy does it look sweet!

we are talking a 2009 hardtop and a 2010 convertible. Why waste your breath or keystrokes until such time as an actual product is available.....and it can properly be compared to the Mustang of the day?
(but, looking backward, those LSx F-bodies certainly did open up a can of whoopass on the Mustang GT (but not the Cobra).
(and, looking at present, the LS2 is a far superior (more powerful) enginethan our 4.6's. But GM currently has no car that compares to the Mustang....but just don't try to race a GTO or a CTSV stock for stock......)

well here is the thing the camaro is most likley going to be more expensive then even expected casue in the concept car that journalist's were able to drive had the LS2 motor in it and on top of that i had found out that the whole chassis is based upon a cadillac STS. now if anybody has done their homework and has seen how much a STS is going for will realize that this camaro is going to be way overpriced but will make a nice collectors item cause the life of the camaro will be short lived once again.

i HOPE they come out and do well, it will give the boys at ford something to compete with - which may mean 5.4 powered GT's in the coming years
