I changed my Head Unit from Shaker 1000 to Pioneer Navi...
Will I still be able to utilize the IPOD jack in the center console area? The installers used the Crutchfield harness that came with my Pioneer AVIC-D2. Thanks for you help.

You should be able to find some good info there. I have the Z1 and I am using the IPOD adapter designed for that. I am not sure how the console plugin hooked up with the shaker.

I think it sounds very good. There's no reason for me to change the speakers out because I'm not going to blast the music like when I was 17. It's very loud and clear...the only negative would have to be the rattling of the car...but I guess that's normal for us Ford Mustang people...[&o] If a speaker pops...that's when I will consider some new speakers and subs...maybe. All in all it's AWESOME. Navigation is very helpful too.
A shop did my install for me and it looks great...I'll go take a picture right now and post it.

You should be able to use the connector - Ford uses a 4 pin connection to the Shaker headunit. A pin out diagram will show a ground, positive, negative and an Aux enable. For an aftermarket head unit you only need 3 - ground, negative and positive. A good install shop should be able to rewire the existing connector to match up to your Pioneer or you could do it yourself if you are comfortable with wiring at all. You'll have a set of audio inputs on the back of your Pioneer - you will see red and white female RCA connectors. You'll need a cable with male RCA connectors and most likely a headphone connector on the other. Cut the headphone connector off and use the 3 wires (ground ,left and right) to connect to the original aux input connector. Here's a wiring diagram which should help....
