I say take that **** back and make them fix it. I wouldn't let it go if it wasn't there before.

Definitely stop driving the car. I wouldn't even drive it back to the dealership, have them come pick it up. There was another guy with an '05 that smelled gas as well. The dealership couldn't come get the car so he called a tow truck. The guy wouldn't touch the car because it smelled like gas. The fire dpt ended up coming out to check it before the next guy with a flat bed would pick it up.

You don't want to screw around with this. Get the dealership to come get it.

1+ I think it is better to be safe than sorry. I mean it may be a lazy tech that got all dirty with gas after installing the new fuel pump than jumped into the car and proceded to get gas all over and now it is dissapating. Use common sense!

lift up your back seat and make sure it's sealed. You get to the fuel pump through the back seat so they probably dripped a few drops of gas. Either that or it's leaking.

Yeah I agree. There's probably just some fuel left under the seat in the valley. Laziness. Take it back and have them clean it and run and evap leak test to make sure Lazy A$$ sealed the pump down right.

I remember that. They forgot to put in some washer or something and the fuel pump wasn't sealed down right. I would definitely have them check it out. It might just be leaking a few drops and you don't want those drops landing on hot exhaust pipes.[]

Since the pump access is under the rear seat, maybe they spilled some gas on the rear floor mat area?

Wow, to access to the fuel pump, you have to get inside of the car, and access from there? Wow!
