And of course you know that even if every member from every Mustang site votes, you are still only getting a small percentage of owners.

Almost forgot in the three years I had my 2007 convertible GT, only a few issues I remember.
1 If not parked with front passenger corner lower while fueling, it would fill slow, or not want to fully fill.
2 Windows would need to be calibrated a few times a year, or auto up and down would not work properly.
3 Bad gas mileage, but that was my fault.

I have a 2000 V6 with 190,000 miles, it still looks and drives like new. I've replaced one tied rod end, the secondary air injection pump, the O-ring on the trans filler tube and one relay for a total of $700.00. Everything else has been routine maintenance, oil wipers, tires. I've had a lot of cars and bikes (34) this has easily been the most reliable and fun!

I have 12,000 miles one my 2012 3.7, it's a little notchy going into second when it is cold, otherwise it is perfect! I would definitely recommend Mustangs.

Resurrection of an old thread! I don't see anything resembling a spot to "vote" here though.

Anyway, I have 2006 Pony convertible 4.0 V6 with automatic.

I have 190,800 miles on it. Very few problems, one blown head gasket that was covered under warranty.

I had to replace the water pump at 154,000 miles and the alternator at 189,872 miles.

Other than that, just normal maintenance.

Because as ya state, older than dirt post, the polls roll off completely after a set time.

I've had:
1. Power steering pump replaced due to it dieing. This was only after about 2 months of owning the car. Since then, it's been great.
2. Minor issue with water leak on passenger side due to things being clogged with leaves. 3yrs of gunk, so not exactly unexpected.
3. Rattling issues with after-market upgrade mufflers (flowmaster) when bought. Only when cold out for a few minutes. Finally got that taken care of from the dealer.
4. 3rd gear grind issue that I never have taken care of. Synchronizer based, again, only shows in cold (<40 degrees out), and only for the first 1 or 2 shifts. So I just deal.

That's all the issues I've had that were from owning it at the start. Of course one other basic one is the alternator. It "works", it's just seriously weak and really can't take what I'm dishing out aftermarket wise. So I don't consider that a true issue to state. So in total, 4 true off the lot problems.

110K on my 06GT. There was corrosion on the edge of the hood and under but an accident fixed that lol ( NOT my fault either ). Something in cold manual transmission sounds like a circular saw while it's cold, there is TSB for that too. E-brake lines frozen and replaced... Seat handle broke off 3 times(!) but there is another one that can be used instead so I don't care any more:-) Rear struts replaced because of a leak. Differential seal leaked and replaced... Now replaced rear O2 sensors to clear p0430 catalyst code and I think this is the culprit... Front strut mounts thud over bumps in a winter. Exhaust hangers rattle when cold around 2000 rpm. Since its a convertible there are some rattles and squeeks inside too., especially when cold. Tranny seems smoother with more miles on it. But all in all I like the car a lot:-)

33,000 miles no issues for dealer although yesterday I did hear the heat shield on one of the cats rattle. No worries. She's in bed for the winter!
