Can anyone recommend a good front license plate housing?

RE: Can anyone recommend a good front license plate housing?
I've already put the front plate on because the dealership put their chincy plastic plates on the car and left these HORRIBLE looking holes in the front bumper. It looks like whoever puton the front plate used a pitbull's jaws to puncture the holes through it or something.
And I left thedealer advertising plate covers off, because they didn't have a good design to them. The stupid things wouldn't fit over the plate and sit right!
I'm going to justkeep an eye out for some decent looking plate frames...Something that doesn't scream "bling bling"but also doesn't look like a cheesy plastic frame. Maybe I'll have one made, saying "Retro Pony Car".

Those are great frames, 06GT but my issue is with the nasty plastic housing you have to mount on the front molding, not with the plate you can attach to that.
I'll watch this space in case someone finds a solution that is acceptable to both Mustang owners and the CHP! Until then, I'm tempted to do what others here have done and carry the front plate inside the car. For five years I had a little Lotus Elan Turbo with an even swoopier front end than the Mustang GT/CS; I never attached a front plate and, despite being lipstick red, quite conspicuous and frequently driven much too fast, the car never attracted attention from John Lawon account of a missing front plate.

Don't drill the bumber. I made my own mounting bracket that mounts to the underside of the bumper and leaves most of the front bumper visible. Currently I have taken it off and carry it in the trunk. I am waiting for my first ticket before putting it back on. Been a year now. Guess I just jynxed myself.

I got an 05 GT a few months ago and just received my roush front facia, No way in hell would I put a plate on the front end. Just file for a lost plate and keep the paperwork in your car if you get pulled over. It works for my buddies STI in NY!

Once again, many thanks, guys. 06GT4RAD, I contacted the eBay vendor you linked and will investigate this option. If he can determine that his brackets fit the '07 GT/CS (which has a larger front air intake and lower spoiler, like the Shelby's) then he's just got himself another customer, thanks to you. Appreciate your going to the trouble.
Carmanwelder, your idea is worth some serious consideration, too. Before filing for a missing plate I might just buy the bracket on eBay, carry the whole darn assembly in the trunk and hope the boys in blue will give me a chance to reinstate it if they catch me without the front plates.
