Default A couple questions about the GT500 hood

Basically, I really like the 2007 Shelby GT500 hood. I was wondering, do they sell them and if so where? And, do they fit our cars (more specifically a 4.0)? TIA

The GT500 hood bumps up in the grill area, there'd be a gap between the Grill and the hood.

OK, thanks. I knew that the hood bumped up a bit, but I didn't realize that it would cause a problem at the grill... [sm=boosign.gif]

Just put in the front fascia from the GT500, here's the parts list:

Here's what it would end up looking like. He hasn't installed the hood yet.

That looks awesome...any idea what it ran him for the front fascia and hood? I assume paint cost a pretty penny...

Also, does the GT wiring harness work with those fogs?

I was told in another forum that the GT500 hood fits fine with the GT front end. Is there any way to verify this without going to a dealership? I know they'll tell me otherwise even if it is true so I have to get all the GT500 front end parts........

Go to the Mustang Source Forums, there is a parts manager for Clevenger Ford in CA who will sell you all the parts necessary for this conversion. His name is Kevin Casey and you only need to send him an e-mail with hot sheets in the subject line to get his current prices. He also has recommended going to your local Ford dealer with his prices to see if you can negotiate with them for the same pricing. There are about ten or so different threads in the exterior appearance section of the Mustang Source Forum where this conversion has occured and has been documented with photos.

Here is one of Kevin's threads:
