Default Anyone deal with accesswarranty.com?

I was looking to purchase an extended warranty on the stang and I found accesswarranty.com. They offered a 5 year/100k mile warranty for a pretty reasonable price. I was talking with them over the phone and they refused to send out any documentation about the plan unless I gave them my credit card #. I then explained that I'm uncomfortable giving out my # without seeing anything for it and they just said how I have 30 days to get it refunded and it was unconditional... anyone use these guys or have heard anything about them? They seem pretty shady if they can't send me out information without me paying hundreds of dollars upfront without seeing anything.

Yeah seemed pretty sketchy.. but they are on the labbb.com website and have a AA rating, so I'm hoping someone has dealt with them and had a good experience

Honestly If you really want to purchase and extended warranty buy from Ford and Ford only. Here is a website to some direct pricing.

http://www.fordwarrantys.com/

http://www.ford-extended-warranty.com/

What i did was price out one online and then went to my Local Dealer with whom i purchased the car from and asked if they could beat it by 200.00 and they did.

Having run shop for several years, stay as far away from aftermarket warranties as you can, if it is not backed by the manufacturer, it is not worth the paper its printed on. The worst I ever had to deal with ona regular basis was Wynn's, they are also one of the most common. Did you know they will denie a claim on a engine if you have not used their oil and filter products (which mysteriously, you cant find anywhere),I couldnt believe it either, till they showed me the fine print. And most of these warranties are reimbursment warranties, you still have to pay for the total repair, and they will maybe get back to you about some or all of the bill reimbursed. As long as you are still under the factory warranty you can buy the esp from Ford, it is also transferrable (big selling point)and refundable(at a prorated amoutn of course)

Fords sold after 7/14/06 have a 5/60 ESP powertrain warranty with a 100 dollar deductible. 07's have no deductible. If you dont qualify for that buy a ESP from a Ford dealer, and shop around, the prices are negotiable. Be aware, even the "bumper to bumper" ESP has loopholes that dealers will use to deny coverage.

I've heard good things about warrantydirect.com and am considering buying from them. I haven't read the fine print yet though, anyone know if they screw you?
