Hey guys, my hood took some pretty good hail damage. So, Im getting a new hood and its getting prepped and painted very soon. My question though, is my old hood worth anything ? I dont think anyone probably wants a hailed on hood. But since its aluminum, could I get it scrapped and get money ? One of the hail repair shops asked if he could have so his new guys could practice on it. Watcha guys think ? Thanks

you could definately get a few bucks at a scrap yard for the aluminum. Weigh the hood and call a scrap yard to see how much per pound they are giving for aluminum.

You could also use it for practice on putting in a shaker...

Yeah do like they did on that one monster house a couple yrs ago, use it asa table that lowers from the wall
