get sick of stick? who are you talking to, your grandma?

LOL. I've had manual transmission vehicles for over 25 years, and have always lived in gridlocked cities like NY, Boston, and Washington DC. Currently own a six-speed CTSV and a 5-speed mustang GT. As soon as I start to get sick of their trannies, I'll let ya know.

Oh yeah, I have been enjoying the GT a lot the past few months The v6 was a great car, but the GT is so much more fun to drive. I had heard that I would get tired of stick shift ( the GT is stick shift the v6 is automatic ) but so far, now that I have gotten used to it, it has been a blast. I have a grin a mile wide every time I roll down the windows and hear the exhaust when I gun it It was kinda funny today actually... I found myself trying to press down the clutch on the v6 when starting up, slowing down, etc. only to find that there was no clutch... it was kinda odd lol.

BTW the mod bug is starting tomorrow... going to order a hurst shifter for the GT... and I have a feeling I wont be able to stop modding it after that lol.
I do that often when I drive my wife's vert (formerly my car). Both cars are identical inside, except for gauge color. I know my 11yo son likes riding in the 4.0L/5-spd coupe better than the 4.0L/auto vert (with the top up). However, once we drop the top, there's no comparison.

Congrats on the new GT. When are you going to get a CAI and tune?

Actually, you will be less likely to get into an accident with a stick. The reason is that unlike an auto, you have to be constantly paying attention to the road. No cellphone, no big gulp, ne eating. Much safer.
