RE: 20 INCH FOOSE NITROUS WHEELS
Dear Mac24,
I have the Foose Chrome Nitrous in 18X8" and 18X10" on my car...
I was also looking for the grey in the 20" but noticed that the lip on the painted wheels are polished and not chrome...
May need polishing periodically...
Color on the painted black wheels is "black" andgrey is "dark grey"...
Keep them clean and you can see the true color of the painted hubs...
Dave

hey mattblasi got a couple of questions about the foose wheels.
1.Is the lip chrome or stainless on your wheels.
2.Are thespokesdeep black or are they kinda smokey grey lookin
The reason i ask the questions are because i seen a foose stallion mustang and the lip is stainless and spokes are kinda smokey grey with metallic flakes in them.Your wheels look like the spokes are deep black and the lip looks chrome. Can you please give me some feedback on this situation, about to buy the wheels but tryin to find out if there two black versions of the wheel. I appreciate you help MATTBLASI.

I have a set of 20" silver Nitrous sitting in my living room till I get tires and springs delivered. The Lip is bright and reflective, but it is not chrome. There are tiny tiny lines like you see on machined wheels, however I believe they are coated with some sort of clearcoat because under certain light at certain angles you can see colors in the lip....sort of like what you see if you look at a puddle of water with oil in it.
The silver wheels appear rather dark unless in direct light. There are tiny metal flakes in the paint that give it a bright sheen in the sun.
GO TO www.uniqueperfomance.com and click "Foose Vehicles"....then "Foose Stallion". You can see a gallery of cars and you can see all 3 colors there.

To answer your questions mine are deep black when they are clean but look like a flat black or greyish when dirty. The lip is polished which is not bad, it is a high polish so it dose not take much to keep it shiny just a simple wipe down.
My only problem with the wheels is that there are 2 valve stems, and due to the one in the middle I am having issues getting my brakes on, I am waiting for some smaller valvestems to come in from Newstalgia but until then I am kinda stuck. I also had to put on 15mm spacers but that is because of the offset and the fronts not clearing the caliper.

Here are a couple of more pics as to how the chrome ones might look. I really wanted the grey wheels but the chrome is what came from the dealer and I have been happy with the the looks of them. I know that mine is a Foose so I tried to give you a picture from the side where the body work doesn't look that different from a stock 'Stang.

One thing to note is that with the Black and Grey Version that polished lip is actually not part of the rim itself but it is glued on. I know Foose was having big issue's at one time with the polished piece coming off. They stopped production of them for awhile until they got that issue resolved. But that is something you should be aware of.
MATTBLASI What brakes are you having an issue with fitting on the car. That dam valve stem was a concern of mine when i got my wheels and it seems as though my concern may have been justified. Can you tell my what brake setup you are having a trouble fitting?
