If you're concerned with keeping the window clean, go with the Roush, they are removeable for easy cleaning of the window. Three allen head bolts hold them on. Dunno about water retention yet, my painter has mine right now so I haven't installed them yet.

I never had a problem with mine... The rear view and the side view mirrors are more than enough...and just proceed with caution! No whistle or noise problems up to 120 MPH and they stick like they are bonded with bondo! Mine are from Cervinis

The only time I took mine off was for tinting
A little water drips after washing but the hood scoop does too.
They have a grabberorange Mustang at the dealer next door wtih the body kit and black stripes.
Nice looking car!! I think the orange is retro looking Have fun

I have the CDC quarter window louvers. I love them. Easy to install. You can see out when looking back...but not realy good. I'd rely on your side mirrors. There are two quarter inch gaps in the bottom tape to allow water to drain out. No problem. I've included links to pics. If you want other pics (e.g. from inside) let me know.

Yes, if you're trying the replicate the '70 Boss you should take a look at some. Here's a photo of one 1969 tribute S197. If you want to really look like the 70 get the bar that goes across the headlight :

Maybe you mean louvers for the REAR window?
As far as side louvers I found a site that sells these prepainted for a good price. They work well, stick hard and fast, not a noise maker. You can see best out of these. Got them here:

I had the XENON side window louvers and I took them off. Big Blind spot cause the windows were totally covered. Plus my boys said they felt closed in when they rode in it. I found that I personally liked the car better with no louver. Just my 2 cents. I have a set I'll sell you for 80 bucks but you'll have to repaint them.
