Well if they are on the front bumper and not the back than it will probably look stupid. I would suggest either getting both bumpers striped or none at all.

I went with 9.25" with a 2" gap. The original LeMans Stripes started in the front with 9.25" and were 10.25" at the front window and roof then going back to a 9.5" at the rear bumper. The width depends a lot on the color of the car. I think a wide strip looks better with a dark color car and dark stripe and a thinner stripe on a light color or dark color car if the contrast is really different, like awhite carwith blue stripes or a black car with white stripes.

i think mine are 12inch with 1/4 inch outline...look for yourself and form an opinion

Had 8s, too small for the hood graphic. Looks much better with the Big 10 Inch!! 1.5 split and MUCH better w/ the pinstripes IMO, Installed em today!

I figured I would pick the stripe dimension once I got the hood and could see what would work. Doing some research, I found dimensions on the original Shelby stripes. I taped those out when I got the hood, and realized they looked great! Here are the dimensions and a couple of pics:
