You forgot the neighbor's darn cat! Cats love to jump up, walk all over our hood, leaving paw prints when we arrive home at night! Cover is the onlt thing that solves that problem with apartment living. Also there is a lot of dust blowin around these days and I'd rather have it on the car cover.

Unless you suspect flying debris (ice, branches, etc) I cannot see any purpose in covering the car; can only see more harm than good.

RE: Disapointed with NOAH car cover
I hear ya...
I had a "Stormshield" brand cover when I had my '00 Vette,(which was black), that cover sucked, it was not like having any cover at all.
Only good quality was that when it snowed, easy to get the snow off. Piece of crap for 300+ dollars....
I was going to get a cover for the GT, now I'm thinking of leaving it as is, might be better off!?!

RE: Disapointed with NOAH car cover
I've used NOAH covers for years....yes they let some water seep in.....that's how they breathe. no cover will keep the car perfectly dry; if you use a completely "waterproof" cover then the water from the ground will evaporate and then condense on the cover and the car and keep everything moist forever. The noah or other breathable covers will allow everything to dry on a dry day.
I've never had any problems with unusual rusting or mold under the cover.
Yes...a garage is far superior to a cover. A cover serves it's purposes, but they are not perfect. They keep a car clean, they eliminate sun damage andreduce damaging greenhouse heat, they keep leaves from getting in all the nooks and crannies and holding moisture there, and they do keep cars drier; though some water seeps through a good breathable cover, it is not a soaking blast that you get in a rainstorm.
At the end of the day does it matter if you cover a car? It depends on many factors, but I have used them successfully and will continue to do so.
