I'm in the process of painting mine right now. I'm doing mine in Ford Blue. I hardest damn part is cleaning them. I figured the more I put into that part the better they would turn out. I took steel wool to both of them, then cleaned real well, primed and now I'm painting. Did you clear yours or not. That is the only part I'm not sure which to do. I have about 5 coats on them now and I might do more after the 7 days of curing.

I did 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of black, and 2 coats of clearcoat.

what brand paint did you use. Like I said, I have 5 coats on so far and they have an awesome shine to them now. I'm going to wait the 7 days and put another 5 coats or so on. just not sure how much the clear will help

Nuts, all i can say is, well.....just, damn. The black on black theme looks very tough. Really nice job. I had mine recently polished but i really think your black on black has the muscle look i was hoping for. I am thinking i might rough up the polish job and get them powder coated in black.

I used Dupli-color engine enamal good to 500 degrees.

Being that my car is tungstun grey I didnt think the grey on the plenum matched the car and I didn't want grey on the engine. I am going to do the engine bay in a black and silver/chrome theme with some more painting to do and some billet stuff when I get more money.
