yeah especially since the car is way overrated. i could understand if it was a GT500 but its not. its a Gt with a couple parts that you can actually buy from shelby.

I thought the first GT500 sold long before they went into production. Or should I say the rights to the first production GT500. I also thought it went for well over 250k. [sm=yikesomg.gif]I will look around and see if I can find the article. fd

To the best of my recollection, the rights to the first Shelby GT500 went at Barrett-Jackson for $500,000. This new Shelby GT......we'll see.....Ive read on here some, I think, that with just minimal mods our stock GT's could walk the Shelby GT's dog.....just my thoughts.....

Since the first GT500 went for a CRAZY price, there is no telling what the Shelby will go for. I think that the first GT500 went for $600,000. I also think that the person that did that should have their head examined.

Right now, with a booming economy that's all well and good, but it will be very interesting to see what that car will bring after the first economic downturn.

Someone with more money than they need will pay 200k for it just to put it on a pedestal, never drive it and sell it for 17k in 20 years.

i think all it has is a ford racing power pack and thats it. Nothing crazy....i dont think it will go for much.
