So I ordered my mustang in december, it hasn't arrived yet, and the dealer wrote on the contract that I'll be getting the agreed upon price, minus any applicable rebates from ford that are offered when the car is delivered.

So now ford is offering a Retail Customer Cash incentive for $1,000. But the fine print says "Take new retail delivery from dealer stock." My car isn't coming from dealer stock, so does this not apply to me?

Ford says to see the dealer for additional details but I'd love to get some answers here first, thanks all, here's a link to ford's page:

I ordered a car in November, arrived a couple of weeks ago. There was no rebate when I ordered either, in the finance office they took the $1000.00 off. I bought on X-plan don't know if that makes a difference but technically you are buying from dealer stock, your checks made out to your dealer's name not Ford.Not an expert here but I think you will be alright. I ordered my car in November and took delivery last Saturday. I took advantage of the 4.9% rate for 60 months instead of the $1000.
