Has anyone gotten or have a rattling noise in the rear from their muffler?

RE: Has anyone gotten or have a rattling noise in the rear from their muffler?
I used a shop towel and placed it between the muffler tip and bumper to isolate where the sound is coming from. and that was it. the muffler tip is banging against the metal bracket just above the exhaust cutout on the bumper. I fixed it by lossening the clamp on the axleback muffler and then used a floorjack to push the muffler up and forward then tighten the clamp again. No More Noise...

Hmmm....I seem to be having a slightly different thing happening with my stingers. I don't hear them rattle when I get on it going up hill, but over larger bumps every once in a while I will get this "gong" sound from the back. This only started happening after I put them on. Someone mentioned that the hangers might need to be cut down, as they could hit the frame, but the ends of my hangers are nowhere near the frame. Everything seems to be tight, but I do notice that the exhaust pipes are kind of close to a horizontal bar running from left to right (sorry I'm not sure what it is exactly...looks like it's for frame rigidity). If I push the pipe up far enough, it will touch this bar. The problem is...I can't understand how a stock vehicle would be any different.[&:]
Anyway, I'm glad someone else is experiencing the same type of problem. I'll have to go see if it's the muffler tips and maybe I'll get lucky.
