My friend got pulled over while going through NJ in his saleen and the cop gave him two tickets, one for each front window. Talk about police douchebaggery! He was tired of getting pulled over so he finally removed the tint.

I've tried unsuccessfully to refuse a search several times in the past, apparently the words "I do not consent to any search" when spoken in english or spanish resonate with the air somehow and produce a mysterioussmell which merits immediate police investigation with or without consent,but this time they didn't even ask.

I was kind of insulted and I felt like I got gipped out of the smug satisfaction I usually get when I refuse a search which then commences anyway only to turn up nothing.

One ticket for each window!? That sounds like felony douchbaggery to me. Maybe even dicketry 1.

I'm surprised the guy didn't give me the whole "Well I could have given you a ticket for each window, but I won't because I'm a nice guy and you should thank me" bit like they always do.

You oughtta take pics of all the vehicles(and plate #s) in the police parking lot.....and bring them to court with you. Insist that they be charged also or accuse the police of 'selective enforcement'!! I bet it would leave them speechless.

hell yea do that crap, pickin on us when there are so many ricers that get away with it. Its like they dont see them, all the civics here have it and never have i seen one get pulled over, only the upper class cars do

I guess since it is so hot down here in south Florida, the cops don't give a damn about tints and how dark they are. A lot of cars down here have 5% or 15% tint. The legal limit is 28% here for the front windows, but 70% limit up there really sucks. Who is going to put tints on at that percentage? But ya, that sucks that you got pulled over just for the tints. The only time a cop down here might give you some trouble because of tint is if you got pulled over for something else and they feel like getting you on the illegal tints also. My previous car had5% tint and I never got bothered by the cops. I have to keep this in mind ifI ever driveup north with this car.
