mine is the same, the left one is up higher than the right one, it is very noticable. I am going to go back under this weekend and loosen up the clamps and try again to get them aligned...if not, to the muffler shop I guess to see if maybe he can shorten the right hangers for me....
You can try loosening the clamp at the H pipe and turning the pipe slightly, this will definately raise or lower the muffler depending on which way you turn it. It might also move it more to one side causing another problem though.

Yes! I might try grinding off the nub like riven said. If I could get the damned muffler off that is, it's stuck on there good now. What about shortening the pipe at the H pipe? That will move the bend that much closer to the fuel tank though.[&o]

Are they both lined up against the nub of the stock pipe?

My drivers side sticks out a little less then 1/4" more then the right, there both alinged perfectly in the bumper though.

I would only shorten the "H" has a total last resort.

mossetang, just shortened it and you won't have to waste your time. i cut 1.5" off mine. good luck!
