I did these in my garage in about 1 hour. They're very easy to install and if you have a predator you can call Justin Burchman at JPC and he'll send you a tune for 50 bucks. I'm stil running that same tune in my car til I can get a few other things bolted on and then Dyno it. There was a noticeable gain all on the top end when I installed them. The car will definetly benefit from a tune though. Seems to be on the rich side. All in all I can't complain about the amount spent or performance gain.

You must have the tune right away, otherwise you'll get a check engine light and LIMP MODE.

This is one of my next mods and it will come simultaniously with a dyno....It will increase airflow and torque but with a tune, period. Any doubters out there need to take their intake manifold off thier car turn it over and look at the stock design....There is some restriction there, then look at the ford racing kind, the holes are larger and come ported and polished if desired.....So the gains of 10-12 whp for $100 is possible but with a tune, preferrably a dyno tune

- 1 for "LIMP MODE"...... heh heh heh

in that link to the other thread about these, i gathered that these actually hurt low end power. can anyone verify this?

Have any idea what the gain would be adding the cmcv's with a s/c.

+1....just read it... I will be dynoing my car when I get it so maybe the down low lagg can be fixed with a real world tune...
