I am aware that there is a thread on here already, but there is nostraight answer to this question. I am finally going to add a sirius to my car (the new handheld ones would fit great between my vents in the middle), and I was looking at the PIE FRD04-AUX. I have seen someone say something about it not working if your car has the 6 cd changer? Well my shaker 500 has the 6 cd.. I think they all do...? Anyways, will this kit work flawlessly to connect the sirius directly to the shaker 500?

I dont think so....I read it on a different forum. Many people just upgrade the head unit with aftermarket.

For an aux imput with a 1/8" plug crutchfield has one for 70 bucks or so.

For an Ipod interface, PEI (peripheral elec) makes a similar thing that allows the shaker 500 to control the ipod. I just bought that one tonight to try it out as the two different FM transmitters I tried were pretty much worthless.
