There actually covers, go on with double sided tape..Paid 75 Bucks ..Painted for both...fits perfect..
395 for those plus paint, thought they are unique is a little steep..But all that matters is that you love them..good luck..

ORIGINAL: my77stang

Its ok..Really dont notice them unless you know what to look for..

I prefer this..Cheaper..

Great write up, well done.

In my opinion, they take away some of the muscle car look, and just don't match well with the design of the car.

That being said, everybody is entitled to their own opinion.

I agree. I've never really been a fan of small mirrors on any car (as a styling choice, I mean) and with the new Mustangs being as wide as they are, I don't like how those narrow mirrors fit with the overall body design.

But, whatever floats your boat.

(And nice write-up on the switch.)

Considering that you can purchase the same style mirrors for the original 69-73 mustangs for between $150 and $250 I consider these way over priced. They even provide the mechanical linkage whereas with these you just get the plastic case and reflective surface. Are you listening Agent47? You will sell a lot more of these if you don't try and recover all of your R&D costs on the first few sales.

I wouldn't be surprised to see another company supplying similar mirrors at half these prices sometime in the future.

still, they pretty close to Mustang II mirrors (although most mustang owners would never want their stuff compared to a II)

look:

I think I got mine from Ebay, and the best part is the fact they come already painted.
