Ill try and get a sound clip for ya of the LM's with o/r x pipe... my camera is being screwy so may take a bit..... basically if you want a clip, go to the daytona 500, and everytime a nascar drives by your face, remember that sound. Lol. This thread is fun, lol

Wouldn't it mess up your computer? O2 sensor? I have heard that before, that it would make your motor run different. Just wondering.

I got my MAC axle back when I came home for the evening and I begun the install thinking I could get it done in no time flat just like many members have said... Unfortuantly with me and my brother we only managed to get the stock exhaust off before we started to loose adequate daylight, so I then planned on finishnig tomorrow during the day. Since I've been driving my car for the rest of the night without the mufflers and I think its AMAZING!! The car's bone stock so this is the only thing new for me and i'm really impressed. I did get the banging pipes so I went under the car with a few nylon zip ties and minutes later I had them suckers hanging like were meant to be!! It sounds mean and very nasty and now that I know my pipes wont be banging around or anything Im really questioning whether I'll enjoy the MAC's or not... decisisons decisions...

Why dont you just buy a electric cutout for your exhaust you can just have it welded into your exhaust pipe and wire it so you turn a switch and it open or closed then if the popo pull you over you quickly close the cutout rev your engine and act innocent im having my cutout installed tommorow there is another person who has one on his v-6 just search for exhaust cutout under 4.0 v-6 specific

I have FRPP stingers, and people say they "drone"... I really must not know what the heck "drone' is, because I love the sound of them. They just sound like great mufflers to me.
I must LIKE the 'drone' too!!!

+10000000!!! I live here in Daytona and am very familar with the sound those race cars put out and I would MUCH agree that the sound is quite similar with no mufflers!! All day long people have been looking and complimenting, oh and I guess I should mention the few neighbors I sorta pissed off, but ITS GREAT!!! I was really shocked how great these stangs sound without muffs! I think as long as you go under the car and use some nylon straps to hang the remainding exhaust pipes you will be fine.. I am slighlty concerned about how close the pipe ending is to the fuel fill neck, but with the extensive covering on the fuel neck I think it should be fine, not to mention its winter!! NO MUFFS ALL THE WAY ATLEAST FOR A SHORT WHILE!!!
