Default Anyway to remove fine scratches on glass?

My drivers side window has some nice scratches in a couple of spots. Not sure how they got there, but i'd like to remove them or atleast make them less noticeable. Is there any kind of glass polish that can remove fine scratches? I'm having no luck with google. I thought about trying my meguiars cleaner wax on the window, but I don't want to make matters worse.

That's a tough one. Might try polishing compound with a little water. Test it on a small area first, and see if it takes care of it. Another option would be a polishing rag for eyeglasses, or an eyeglass cleaning compound.

I've used very fine steel wool. But the was for smugges. I'm not sure if it'll help with scratches.

Give these guys a try. They have several types of auto glass scratch compounds:

Thanks! I think i'll give their $34 kit a try. I don't think the scratches are deep enough for my fingernail to catch on so i should be good. I'll repost my results.

Don't feel bad... I was scrubbing bugs off of my truck's windshield... and didn't realize my daughter used my sponge in her sandbox... needless to say.... it looks like spider-webs at night or anytime the sun hits it.

+1 Brasso metal polish!! Works for glass windows, storm doors, even watch crystals.
